These naive children of Ta Dam people were having a skinny-dipping beside the Nậm La River, Son La province. That Tai-Dam (black tai) woman was worriedly busy to take care of her three children.
A simple form of machine to convey fresh water from streams to rice fields and containers used for living activities of locals. The machine made from natural materials in forest clearly shows the creativity of Vietnamese ethnic minorities to conquer nature and serve the activities of producing and living. Though it is only an irrigate tool, bamboo wheels are considered as a unique identity to enrich the national culture of Vietnamese. Nowadays, the method is no longer popular when you explore Northwest Vietnam. However, it is just about 200 kilometres from Hanoi city, you can find them at Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

The activities of living depending on nature are daily going on as usual in which you hardly watch in cities with full of fashionable people and busy streets all around the clock. To experience the beauty of Vietnam, it does not necessarily that you have to be deep in luxury with elegant servers and fancy restaurants. When you visit the Northwest Vietnam, you just should be as simple as the locals there. In the harmony with nature of the northwest Vietnam, you will be in peace, under the protect of the nature.
