10:00 PM: Rest for the night at Lim’s House on stilt house

Note: Stilt House is a kind of homestay which is a typical accommodation of the Thai ethnic minority. The Stilt House offers a large room with separate mattresses and curtains on three sides. Double-sized mattresses for couples are available upon request.

7:00 AM: Have breakfast.

8:00 AM: The driver will transfer you to Pu Luong.

8:40 AM: Begin your trekking adventure from Hang village to Eo Ken village. Afterward, continue to the main road for transportation to your Pu Luong homestay.

10:30 AM: Check-in at your bungalow at Puluong Retreat and take a short rest.

11:30 AM: Enjoy lunch.

02:00 PM: Afternoon trek

Transfer to the Meeting Point and commence a 10km trek. Explore Kho Muong, an isolated village surrounded by a valley and the largest cave in Pu Luong, using off-road trails via streams and mountains.

Depart from the village and head to scenic Bang village to discover remote houses with beautiful terrace fields. Return to the hotel and relax by 05:00 PM.

09:00 AM: Start a 6km hike along the iconic trail of Pu Luong, the accent is Don village famed for breathtaking paddy fields and Uoi – Lan Villages stood out with authentic life of Thai ethnic minority. Difficulty level 2/5.

10:30 AM: En route to Hieu waterfall, experience off-the-beaten-track moments in the jungle at Long and Doc villages, covering an estimated 5km. Then transfer to Hieu Village.

12:30 PM: Enjoy a short, refreshing walk to a unique waterfall within the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Have lunch surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Afternoon: Village life and return journey

Afternoon in Ninh Binh (About 14:30)

Morning Exploration (After Breakfast)

Transfer to Mua Cave and embark on a challenge of 500 walk-up steps. Reach the top of Mua Cave and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from a high vantage point.

Historic Visit and Lunch (Around 13:00)

Head to the Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel and visit the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, dating back to the 17th Century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon Boat Ride (Around 13:00 – 16:00)

Visit the Trang An Heritage Site by boat. Spend 3 hours enjoying the picturesque view of rice paddies and exploring 5 underwater caves, including a thrilling 1km-long cave.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a bicycle ride to explore Thung Nham Park, which is home to a diverse range of bird species, including storks, herons, and flamingos. Spend a peaceful afternoon in awe of this beautiful natural ecosystem.

Return to your hotel for check-out and enjoy lunch.

On the way back to Hanoi, you may have the opportunity to visit the Thai Vi temple and the Bich Dong Pagoda (Jade Pagoda) if time allows.
