- Dinner at a local restaurant. If your flight arrives early, we will arrange a food tour on foot for you in the late afternoon instead of dinner.
In the morning, tour guide and private car will take you to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including HCM Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, House-on-Stilts, and the HCM Museum. After that, visit the Temple of Literature, originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first University dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society place then and now on education. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then, visit of the Museum of Ethnology. This museum has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the ground.
Go back to the center to visit Hoan Kiem Lake including Ngoc Son Temple. The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the lake, its history dating back to the 13th century.
A 45-minute Cyclo tour takes you through the Hanoi Old Quarter. Also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. We recommend you explore more on foot with numerous photo opportunities in the free day. Attend to a traditional water puppet show then transfer back to your hotel.
08:00: Pick up at your hotel in Ha Noi and transfer to Pu Luong. Stop for a 15-minute rest break halfway through the journey. Enjoy picturesque village landscapes along the way.
12:00: Arrive at Pu Luong and have lunch at a local restaurant. Check-in at your reserved room (standard check-in time 14:00) and relax at your own pace.
14:00: Take a leisurely stroll down the valley to Don village, renowned as the epicenter of Pu Luong. This area boasts a gentle road that winds through vast terraced fields. With every step, you’ll witness the captivating transformation of the scenery.
Head to Lan Village, known as the “Kingdom of Thai People in Pu Luong” home to around 100 Thai families. Here, you’ll encounter the soothing sights of cool streams, verdant farmlands, ducks joyfully paddling in ponds, and friendly locals going about their day. Have opportunity to observe their traditional brocade sewing and learn about their craft. After that, transfer back for your hotel.
After breakfast, head to Kho Muong Village, where they can experience the picturesque scenery and vibrant local culture. Visit Bat Cave, the largest cave in Pu Luong, known for its impressive limestone formations. Then, you will return to the hotel for lunch and take a nap.
In the afternoon, visit Hieu Waterfall to swim and have fun with locals.
Return your hotel, join in a cooking class to learn the secrets of Pu Luong cuisine. Savor a delicious dinner and then enjoy your evening at your own pace, marking the end of an enchanting day in Pu Luong.
After breakfast, check out your room and depart for Ninh Binh. Expecting arrival time to Ninh Binh at noon and have lunch at a local restaurant near the Tam Coc boat station.
Rest and enjoy a 2-hour boat trip to explore Tam Coc. Glide along peaceful waters, surrounded by stunning rice paddies and limestone mountains. Pass through three enchanting caves, fully immersed in the beauty of nature.
After the boat ride, head to your hotel for check-in. You can either take a leisurely bike ride around the village to explore the beautiful surroundings or relax by the pool at your own pace.
After breakfast, transfer to Mua Cave and embark on a challenge of 500 walk-up steps. Reach the top of Mua Cave and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from a high vantage point.
Optional lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Then, head to the Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel and visit the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, dating back to the 17th Century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel around 3-4 pm and say goodbye to the tour guide. Time to relax. Bicycles and the swimming pool are available. You can explore the lively night scene on Tam Coc’s walking street. Dinner is on your own or based on your tour guide’s recommendation.
Have breakfast, check out, and be ready to leave Ninh Binh by 7:00 AM. Estimated arrival at Noi Bai Airport is between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. You can check in for your flight online the day before. The tour ends at the airport.
