(Remake) Top 12 Vietnamese dishes were officially announced by Asia Record’s Organization. This time, Petit Cadeau would like to recap that event. According to the record, there are 5 specialties of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, including Noodle Pho and Spring Roll which had been voting for World’s 50 best foods by Cable News Network (CNN).

Cuisine considered as one of Vietnam’s advantages to attract tourists had been nominated to many world organizations to promote the image of Vietnam. To 57 countries and territories in Asia, Vietnam honorably stands in the countries having unique cuisine values.

Each dish has a different meaning which is a mixture of Vietnamese spirit and traditional valuable recipes through history. Not only are they harmonious with nature, but they also are tasty and rich in nutrient. The soul of Vietnamese seems to be given in each one as a creation to beautify their hard life in the past. At 3 PM on 1st August 2012 at Faridabad India, 10 Vietnamese Dishes were officially recognized by Asia Record’s Organization according to “Asia Cuisine Value”. Which one have you tasted? 1. Pho Hainoi

2. Bun Cha – Hanoi

This Vietnamese dish is of grilled pork & noodle, which is basically originated from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Bun cha is often served with grilled fatty pork (chả) over a plate of white rice noodle (bún) and herbs with a side dish of dipping sauce. The dish was described in 1959 by Vietnamese food writer Vu Bang (1913–1984) who described Hanoi as a town transfixed by “bún chả”.

3. Bun Thang – Hanoi

This soup is made with shredded chicken meat, shredded fried egg, shredded steam pork cake, and various vegetables.

4. Banh Da Cu – Hai Phong province

An eye-catching bowl of Banh Da Cua must be shown in 5 colors, namely: brown noodles, green of vegetable or herbs, pink brown of crab, the color of green onion and lemon; little red of chili and the color of dry onion. 5. Com Chay – Ninh Binh

Com chay refers to two things in Vietnam: vegetarian food, or Vietnam’s homemade rice crisps that are popular with children. Unlike the sweet treats in the United States, Vietnam’s version of a crispy comes with meat instead of marshmallows.
